South African tank corps. South Africa. Various shots of hot steel in furnaces as South African foundry manufactures tanks. Various shots of the ingots of steel moving along. Various shots of gun turrets revolving. Various shots of new recruits to the corps sat in a classroom learning how to map read. Various shots of them outside having a compass class. M, S as they learn Morse code. They fire guns on a testing range and get into their armoured cars ready to advance. Various shots as they go forward, clearing up after the retreating enemy. One of them blows up a mine and waves a flag as a warning to others. Another soldier fires his rifle and blows up another mine. Each car has a radio and sends out signals, aeroplanes fly over to join in. Cars take cover and then advance towards a village firing at the enemy. Various shots as they drive down the road at night.
