King Charles smiled and waved at crowds of wellwishers who gathered to catch a glimpse of the monarch as he returned to royal duites. King Charles and Queen Camilla were greeted by cheers from the public on a visit to a hospital and specialist cancer centre on Tuesday, 30 April. The King and Queen will meet with doctors and patients during the visit in a bid to further raise awareness of the importance of early diagnosis and highlight innovative research taking place at the centre. It will be the 75yearold monarchs first public engagement since his cancer diagnosis.
