THE WIRE: Omar in Jail (my edited cut) excerpts from THE WIRE Season 4 (with eng. subs)

Omar in Jail: Reedited A little editing project where I put together, in continuity, all of the separate scenes from The Wire Season 4 s episodes about Omar in jail. This fascinating storyline included an assassination attempt by a prisoner hoping to collect a bounty. Originally of course these scenes were shown interwoven with other stories. To show how captivating this story was, I wanted to simply show all of the Omar in Jail scenes together uninterrupted. Like many who loved THE WIRE, Omar was my favorite character, the same as many viewers including famously, President Obama, a big fan of Omar and Michael K Williams. What struck me about the first of these scenes is its about the ONLY time in THE WIRE that Omar is shown even a tiny bit afraid or less than 100 sure of himself. Because now in lockup, Omar is seeing many of those who had looked down the end of his shotgun, dealers or others he had ripped off in the past.
