Titles read: DUMB FRIEND. Location of events unknown London A small boy walks down a bombed street with a small puppy (called Smut) in his arms. He goes into an Animal Hospital and speaks to a lady at a desk. She takes down some details and Smut licks her fingers. The boy and Smut go in to see the vet, who checks the dog. The boy is told to wait outside; he looks up at a sign on the wall reading Because An Animal Is Born Into The World, Is Sufficient Justification For Its Fair Treatment.
