We move into another field down the road. We are shorthanded today for semitruck drivers so Uncle Chris helps out. I see a couple of baby pheasants in the wheat swaths. I slow down and they fly away We have lunch in the field with Grandpa. A big storm is coming in with lightning and thunder. We can t harvest in the rain because our combines cannot process the wet wheat. We have to get the trucks tarped and get off the field so we don t get struck by lightning.
