My first oil painting attempt, a woman in red dress

Recently, I saw a picture of a beautiful oil painting that inspired me to start getting into world of oil painting. I don t know the name of the artist that had originally painted this woman in red dress by using mostly a painters knife. There was a vertical writing on the side of the picture that makes me think the artist may be a Japanese or Chinese person. I would love to find out who the artist is so I can see more of his or hers beautiful art work P. S. With the help of couple of kind YouTube users argorussss and Take5Geri I became aware of the original artist Andre Kohn I love his style of painting Thanks for the help
