The Swingles 15 Step (a cappella Radiohead cover) Matchstick Sessions

Our new video comes courtesy of one of our favourite British exports: Radiohead. The eerie beauty and complexity of their music makes it a challenge to arrange and a thrill to sing. This song appeared on Radioheads 2007 album In Rainbows though you may also know it from the first Twilight film For our a cappella version of 15 Step we use live looping to build up a densely layered arrangement, taking inspiration from playground clapping songs, breakbeat and big band jazz along the way.
