SHORT: WWII SOE Self Soldering Sleeves

In this very special episode, we examine a fascinating object kindly sent to me by viewer Timothy Zotara: a box of No. 3 SelfSoldering Jointing Sleeves. Developed for use by Special Operation Executive (SOE), Britain WWII sabotage and subversion organization, these were designed to connect firing wires to explosive detonators, using a pyrotechnic charge to melt the integrated solder.
