Presave the new album Void at Nocturnal Hours: This was actually a song that we tried to put together for Viscera, but we just couldn t quite nail the arrangement. We were messing with this tuning we jokingly refer to as Scorlet tuning because it s the minor version of the Scarlet tuning, thereby giving it a dark feel. We had no trouble coming up with a multitude of riffs, not to mention riffs and sections that flowed well into one another. However, we really struggled with an overall arrangement that didn t just feel like a riff salad, which was and still is a pet peeve of ours. We ditched Song 3, as it was known back then, and almost forgot about it. As we were working on this album, we took a look at the project and we were able to see it from a different perspective, perhaps something that could have only been done by
