Primordial Serpent The Funereal Winter (full ep, 2023)

Two of the undergrounds most consistently excellent secondwave inspired oneman bands both dropped new EPs this week, and both artists outdo themselves again. The second of these is coming to the channel later today, but first I give you, Primordial Serpent. With this new EP, Primordial Serpent delivers what is probably my favourite track of his whole discography Funereal Beast of the Night. A pulsing, hypnotically rhythmic track that carries an elegantly primitive riff on its hairy back as it succumbs to the primal transformation, a thirst for blood and insatiable ravenous hunger. The rest of the EP is another icepreserved oldschool masterclass of immaculate black metal, but that track in particular.
