A Quilt for My Father Free Quilt pattern for Quilts of Valor, Williams Honor Fat Quarter Shop
This quilt is a special one it s a quilt designed and named for my father. He served in the National Guard, and in remembrance of him we designed this quilt with the Quilts of Valor Foundation in mind. Their mission is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing quilts. It works so well with any red, white and blue patriotic fabric, so we brought this free pattern back out and redid it in American Gatherings for this tutorial. I hope you love it as much as I do To find out more about the Quilts of Valor Foundation, visit , ShowMeTheModa, QuiltsOfValor, PatrioticQuilts, Quilts, PrimitiveGatherings, Veterans CHAPTERS 00:00 Intro 00:23 Supplies 01:45 Making the Red Stars 03:48 Making Half Square Triangles 05:21 Assembling the Block 10:10 Creating a Pinwheel Block 12:44 Final Result COMPLEMENTARY VIDEOS Red, White Blue Quilts SUPPLIES
