Great Eastern at Etherow

After 18, 500 views to date on his thread in Model Boats magazine and three articles published there, Bob Abell appeared on BBC2 in the Coast program on 20th May 2012 where they briefly showed the ship crossing the Atlantic laying the first telegraph cable to America. (a lot ended on the cutting room floor unfortunately) Here she is on home waters at Etherow model Boat Club, set in the beautiful Etherow Country Park, Compstall, nr Romiley, Stockport.
