The band The Velvet Underground created a new sound that changed the world of music, cementing its place as one of rock n rolls most revered bands. Not only did the band change the world of music, but their unique sounds were also closely intertwined with avant garde cinema by Andy Warhol and The Factory. The documentary film THE VELVET UNDERGROUND gives immersive insights into how the band formed and the exciting art scene in New York City in the 1960s. Director Todd Haynes and Producer Christine Vachon have a conversation with our questions picked out of a bowl about their documentary face to face.
