This recording (2009) is a study project for Complete Guitar Studio jazz students, concerning a collection of jazz blues choruses on the classical guitar with the relevant techniques: the Chord Melody fingerstyle solo arrangement how Archtop CM jazz guitar playing can be compared with CM jazz on classical guitar. the swing, bop idiom in the solo and lines and chordal fills of Joe Pass each chorus can be played separately as an etude. It was recorded in 2009 for the solo CD project Gathered Time Jazz on the classical guitar. Due to limited amount of recording material, it was placed with some other tunes on a spare list. This recording of Charlie Parkes s Now s the Time is a transcription of Joe pass s Now s the time from his 4th Virtuoso album.
