Mock Bullfight (1960)
C, US of two brightly coloured bull fighting posters; M, S in the garden of a Spanishstyle house in Hampstead, London, with a canopycovered balcony where some women sit. Three people sit at a table in the garden and watch as two men practise cape swirling matador style. Commentator says members of Club Taurino, a group of bull fight enthusiasts, have got together for a little practise. One of the men, George Erik, flings his pink and gold cape around dramatically The people sitting at the table look on; there are some Spanish wine decanters on the table. The woman on the right is Mrs Erik who holds a pair of bull horns on her lap; she leaps up and we next see her in M, S as she charges towards GE s cape, horns first, as if she is a bull GE flips his cape around in a masterly way and looks domineering as Mrs E charges towards him.
