October 2018. The US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, is asking Saudi Arabia to support a thorough Investigation into the Disappearance of a Journalist. The Saudi Reporter, Jamal Khashoggi, disappeared last week and Turkish Investigators believe he was Murdered inside the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul, but the Kingdom Denies that. Saudi Arabia will allow Turkish authorities to search the Saudi consulate, the Turkish foreign ministry said. Saudi authorities let us know that they are open to cooperation and an examination can be carried out in the consulate building, Hami Aksoy, a foreign ministry spokesperson, said in a statement on Tuesday.
