NASA TV Briefing Previews Launch of Asteroid Bound Spacecraft
On August 17, NASA hosted a briefing at the agencys headquarters in Washington, DC to preview the launch of the Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification, SecurityRegolith Explorer (OSIRISREx) spacecraft the first U. S. spacecraft destined to rendezvous with, study and return a sample of an asteroid.
