EU about to give up Brexit ECJ red line (4k)
It seems that the EU is about to concede that they will never be able to force us back under the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice. There is talk that the EU chief Brexit negotiator, Michel Barnier, has now realised that demanding the UK stay under ECJ jurisdiction just will not fly. According to Tony Connelly, Europe editor of the Irish broadcaster RTE, the EU27 leaders are getting ready to compromise on that so far red line of theirs.
