After being abandoned at birth, professional diamond cutter Ambrose C. Park (Red Skelton) is finally reunited with his longlost family, including a sister named Maggie (Cara Williams). His supposed family members, however, are actually impostors, part of an elaborate plot to steal an expensive diamond. Maggie, feeling the weight of her conscience, informs Ambrose of their deception. Responsible for the priceless gem, he struggles in comic fashion to return it to its rightful owner.
