Andre Bertel 2023 Sindelfingen Seminar PART TWO

Here is the second video from my karate seminar in Sindelfingen, Germany, during the second weekend of September 2023. This video features aspects of ROSHU (NAMI NO TE) KATA, which was properly taught for the first time outside of Japan. In other versions propagated, several movements are missing and, or incorrect. This and the other kotengata are exensions of the JKAShotokan style as inherited from Masters Funakoshi Gichin, Nakayama Masatoshi, and my teacher, ASAI TETSUHIKO SHUSEKISHIHAN. Another aspect of the training was soft ukewaza and subtle taisabaki to avoid the opponents attack by millimeters; thereby, being able to immediatelywithout hesitation and for the opponent to responda finishing blow.
