Coronavirus outbreak: Indian police punish lockdown offenders with violence, push ups
As India began its threeweek lockdown on Wednesday, police punished people who ventured outdoors with beatings, and in some cases, pushups, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordered 21day nationwide confinement to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus.
