Next; troops on bicycles ride down street; round corner; in town. French soldiers at rest in the woods; stand around drinking coffee; smoking; talking; etc. Then DS from way high up: cavalry galloping. Artillery teams man several field guns in a row; gun barrels dip downward; then back up; then fire. Shots of infantry advancing on foot across field; through tall grass.
