Hiking Stone Mountain, North Carolina

One of my favorite state parks in North Carolina is Stone Mountain State Park. It has a lot of hiking potential and I m pretty sure that I ve hiked all of the trails in the park. The signature peak in the park is, of course, Stone Mountain. Like Stone Mountain in Georgia, it is a granite pluton rising about 600 feet above the valley floor.
