Thomas Tuchel has been appointed to succeed Gareth Southgate as England manager. The 51yearold German will be unveiled at a press conference at 1. 30pm this afternoon, having accepted the job last Tuesday (October 8) before Englands Nations League games against Greece and Finland. He will become the third foreign manager to take the England job, following in the footsteps of Italian Fabio Capello and the late SvenGoran Eriksson of Sweden.
