Audioscript: Reader: Sad ending Suddenly, a man ran across the road. He was wearing a dark coat so Hannah didnt see him at first. Quickly she put her foot on the brake. Although Hannah tried to stop she couldnt. She hit the man. Hannah panicked. She drove away as fast as she could. When she arrived at the coffee bar Jamie wasnt there. She called him but his phone was turned off. She waited for ten minutes and then she went home. Two hours later a car arrived at Hannahs house. A policewoman knocked at the door. Policewoman: Good evening, Madam. Are you Hannah Davis Hannah: Yes, yes, I am. Policewoman: Id like to speak to you. Can I come in Reader: The policewoman came in and sat down on the sofa. Policewoman: Are you a friend of Jamie Dixon Hannah; Yes, Reader: said Hannah. Policewoman: Well, Im afraid I have some bad news for you.
