Carnitas Tacos Recipe with Salsa Ranchera, The Frugal Chef
These pork carnitas are made in a Dutch oven in the oven. We are going to rub the pork with spices and place it in the pot. To that we will add garlic, bay leaves, orange juice and milk. The roast will be slathered in lard (I used last weeks left over grease from the pork belly in the air fryer). The pork will cook at 325F for 4 to 5 hours. You will not believe how amazingly delicious it comes out. We will make our salsa while the pork is in the oven.
