A PLACE IN HELL
A femaleinfested brothel in Manila is among the first facilities to fall during a Japanese bombing campaign against the Philippines. Maj. Mac Graves, a man incurably addicted to sucking alcoholic beverages, barely lurches his way into safety. An escape boat he is regaining his sobriety on, along with one fellow GI and one lady prostitute, soon reaches the bayonetinfested shore. The confused Major will have to put his bottle aside and, having teamed up with a handful of unchained Allied prisonersofwar and a local guerrilla force, lead the motley crew into battle.
