Lunge Feeding Blue Whales: Rare Drone Footage of this Spectacular Behavior

A drone shot so rare it might as well be a myth: a surfacelunge feeding Blue Whale Prior to last summer I had never seen a Blue Whale surface lunge feeding on krill. In fact, prior to last year I had never even seen krill on the surface While this isnt the first time Ive filmed this behavior, it IS the first time I can share it with you all here on social media With upwards of 100 Blue Whales currently residing in San Diego waters, Erica, Kyle, and I decided to spend the day zooming around the offshore waters of San Diego in hopes of filming something special.
