Shanti Ray, juvenile blinded by pellet gun meets monkey foster mums at Vervet Monkey Foundation

ShantiRay a 1 year old vervet monkey was shot by a pellet gun near Macadamia Village, Tzaneen, Limpopo. He was rescued by the Vervet Monkey Foundation who gave him a second chance at life. He had been shot in the head and his arm. Unfortunately the pellet couldn t be removed from his head as it was too deep which left him blind.
