Duo Gadjo The Mooche

This spirited version of Duke Ellington s The Mooche became possible when the clarinet player wandered into Armando s a week early for his jazz gig and found himself onstage with Duo Gadjo. Although it is primarily two people, this band is more than the sweet Djangoinspired guitars and voices of Isabelle and Jeffrey Magidson. In addition to Don Neely s wellknown and unscheduled horns, the band made room for another bit of brass played by Jeff s sister Rachael who was visiting from France. As this vid
