Alexander Mc Queen, Nick Knight The Cell: Unseen Mc Queen

In 1999, Nick Knight and Lee McQueen teamed up to create an image for the debut issue of Tina Brown s Talk magazine. McQueen appears bound in chains and hanging from his own flesh in a padded cell. The themes of torment, insanity, isolation and captivity reflected McQueen s unhappiness working as head designer at Givenchy. As always, Knight recorded the entire shoot for his archive using handycams.
