Acid Attack Victim Seeks Justice RT Documentary

A terrible tragedy happened to Nafiah Ikram. The young woman was attacked with acid just a couple of steps from her house, on March 2021, in Long Island, USA. The perpetrator is still at large. Ikram hopes justice will be served and she can live without any fear that attack will happen again. Listen to more from Ikram in our clip. Acid attacks occurs globally with 80 of the victims being women and young girls. Survivors of such attacks remain deeply scarred for life and not just physically but the emotional aftereffects are equally hard to heal from.
