Viewing the Town Creek Indian Mound and Museum

A daytrip Carole and I took to see the Town Creek Indian Mound and Museum which is located not terribly far from where we live. There aren t a lot of existing Native American mounds left in North Carolina. This one was in a farmer s field and largely intact when it was purchased and preserved. It was excavated.
