More Amiga 500 Game Playthroughs: The Amiga 500 version of Barbarian 2, the sequel to the commercially successful Barbarian: The Ultimate Warrior. The game was released in 1989 by Palace Software. In North America it is known as Axe of Rage. The original was a 1 VS 1 sword fighting game and supported two players. For the sequel, however, Palace decided to make a single player, arcade style, hack and slash game. Your goal is to kill the evil wizard Drax, who after his defeat in the first game retreated to his dungeon. This time Princess Mariana (modeled after Glamour Girl Maria Whittaker) is a playable character along Gorth the Barbarian who was the sole protagonist of the first game. This is a legit playthrough. No savestates or cheats were used during gameplay.
