Irans Latest Measures and Developments Regarding the Coronavirus
The novel coronavirus has infected more than 2. 7 million people globally. In Iran, the virus has infected more than 88, 000 people. After about two months of enforcing rather strict measures to contain the spread of the virus, the Iranian government started a new phase of anticorona measures. Since April 18, lowrisk businesses and necessary administrative offices received the green light to go back to work, of course, on the condition of observing health and hygienic protocols. Iran is fighting on two fronts. Both the coronavirus and unlawful US sanctions have made things hard for Iran s economy. Despite all these problems, Iran is domestically producing coronavirus test kits, ventilators, medical safety gears, disposable medical supplies, sanitizers, and disinfectants. Iran is even ready to export some of these items.
