Jack Hammer Down the subway

On UK Polydor from 1968 came this popular ( at least on the London Mod, Soul scene) track from England based soul R B singer Jack Hammer. Following some early sixties Chubby Checker copied based dance songs he found his footing with some tough bluesy soul tracks, the best being this, Down in the Subway from 1968.
