Repair BROKEN Bail Arm for CAT 637 Scraper, Part 2
This video is Part 2 of repairing a broken bail arm for a Caterpillar 637 Scraper wheel tractor. This is the bail arm on a twin drive push pull machine and had quite a bit of damage when it came into the workshop, it was completely broken in two parts, one of the ends was bent and the bushing position needs line boring. In this part 2 we complete the repair and show the step by step process to weld the hollow bar we machined in Part 1 to the bail arm. We also use our Sir Meccanica WS2 portable inline boring and bore welding machine to repair the bushing position. The repair is completed by welding on the stop step and giving it a quick coat of CAT black paint. Missed Part 1 Watch it here: In this video we are using: WIA Weldmatic 500i Welder Sir Meccanica WS2 Portable line boring machine
