John Philipa Cooper Wild daydreams
South African folk duo who released one album, and then disappeared without trace. Except for the fact that they were brother and sister, nothing is known of the couple or of their whereabouts. The original album, The Cooperville Times, was released on LP on the Parlophone label in 1969, and is virtually impossible to find. It has a hole in the sleeve through which the label on the record can be seen, which was highly unusual at the time. This concept only came into general use when 12 (maxi) singles were released towards the late 1970s and throughout the 1980s. The LP was reissued on the Cooperphone label (date unknown) before being made more commercially available when issued on CD by Fresh Music.
