The Double Russian industrial music and low tech videos (1993) is a compilation of 11 underground music videos from a wide cultural zone between homemade neodada, video art on pirate cable tv, idiosyncratic provincial shoegazing, early techno, and beyond. It also features a documentary introduction shot in Moscow by the compilers, Anton Nikkilä and Mika Taanila. The clips artists are: Notchnoi Prospekt, Igor Verichev (New Composers), Stuk bambuka v XI chasov, Velvet Velvet Dolls, Microsurgery, Laboratoriya merzloty, Currents of Death, Pusk, Elena Nabel and Iskusstvennoye dykhaniye. Among the directors are Kirill Preobrazhensky, Alexey Belyayev, Vadim Koshkin, Nikolai Shiroky, Sergey Shutov and Konstantin Bozhiev. The compilation s introduction includes Russian tv ads from the early 1990 s, interviews with Vadim Koshkin, Stuk bambuka v XI chasov, Alexei Borisov (Notchnoi Prospekt), tv journalists Art Troitsky, Andrey Borisov and Dmitri Velikanov, and live footage from a ZGA concert.
