Brookesia nana World s Smallest Reptile
In the Sorata massif, northern Madagascar, scientists discovered a new nanochameleon. The new species was named Brookesia nana and it might be the smallest reptile in the world. The male holotype has a snoutvent length of 13. 5 mm (total length 21. 6 mm), making it apparently the smallest mature male amniote ever recorded.
