Carmelita Jeter at San Diego Mesa College

Olympic and world champion sprinter Carmelita Jeter, 34, runs the 100meter dash against men June 18, 2014, at San Diego Mesa College. She took part in the Summer Nights allcomers series. Her time of had no wind reading, but observers said it was under the allowable. It was her second race of the year after taking a long break after the August 2013 IAAF World Championships in Moscow, where she took third in the 100 after an injuryriddled season.
