Brasil: Samba, Bossa Algo Mais Maricene Costa Quarteto de Sabá Bossa Na Praia(Geraldo Cunha Pery Ribeiro) Álbum: Compacto Duplo Gravadora: Audio Fidelity 1963 Gênero: Bossa Nova Cantora paulista, natural de Cruzeiro, Maricene Costa (0312, 1938) estreou na carreira artística em 1958, quando venceu o concurso A Voz de Ouro, que lhe rendeu um contrato com a TV Tupi. No início da década de 60 atuou em casas noturnas de São Paulo cantando repertório de Bossa Nova. Foi a primeira a gravar uma composição de Chico Buarque, a Marcha para um Dia de Sol, pela Philips em 1964. Depois disso foi para os Estados Unidos, onde foi ouvida por nomes como Tony Bennett, Judy Garland e Eddie Fischer. Na volta ao Brasil chegou a vencer um festival da TV Excelsior (com a música Até Mais Ver, de Vitor Martins e C. Castilho) antes de trabalhar em teatro, na montagem de peças como Morte e Vid
