To help his partner win the daughter of an anthropologist, an actor pretends to be an ape. When his ape is confiscated, a performer has his assistant dress up and impersonate the animal for the act. His situation goes from bad to worse after he is invited to stay at a country home by a young woman who wants to prove apes are very smart.
