It s a Sunday night and the knowledge of being off tomorrow got me jonesing for some summer disco. I looked it up and found out that this was the, 1 disco tune this week forty years ago this week, August 18, 1979. Man do I remember the rush to the floor when this one came on. This tune was a disco wonder, all sixteen minutes of it. Most clubs did not play the whole song, mixing in and out from intro to one of the many instrumental breaks. The US artist listed is Love DeLuxe with Hawkshaw s Discophonia but the release is an exact copy of the UK original titled Again Again by Love DeLuxe. This was fairly common back in da day, the UK or Spain or France had a hit disco album and then the marketing execs started earning some money, turning the release into something the US would eat up.
