Welcome to Epic Flight Academy s Instrument Rating Course This course is taught our own, Mike Thompson. The Instrument Course expands on information and key concepts taught in the Private Pilot course. This gives student pilots a more in depth look into how a pilot should be using their equipment, and which documents and regulations are most important to understand. In this video we will be going over the different resources available to pilots for preparing for weather prior to flight. This course is taught by Epic Flight Academy s own Mike Thompson. Mike Thompson is the author of Telling Is Not Teaching, which promotes the idea that the new school of teaching that embraces electronic technology cannot sacrifice the old school of human relationships because the human brain stills learns in largely the same way that it has for millennia.
