Russia Turns Soviet Era BMP Into Remote Controlled Combat Robot, Can Clear Trenches, Destroy Mines
Russia is planning to test the capabilities of its remotecontrolled combat robot in Ukraine, according to Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov. Moscow will be testing the BMP3 infantry fighting machine which has been outfitted with the Sinitsa module. Sinitsa module enables a manned BMP3 to transform into a fully autonomous vehicle that can be manoeuvred through a tabletlike interface. Designed by High Precision Systems, a subsidiary of Rostec, the Sinitsa module brings the BMP3 into the realm of robotic warfare.
