The Overgate, Rovin Eye ( Traditional Scottish Folk Ballad) Sam Shackleton

Busking a traditional Scottish folk ballad known as The Overgate, Rovin Eye in beautiful Edinburgh, Scotland. Its been a really difficult month but I decided to go out and record this song as its been a great comfort to me recently. The day before my father passed away, I was coming home from some shows on the train from Newcastle and I was listening to the great Scottish folksinger Alex Campbells version of this song over and over and since then Ive been playing it a lot.
