Burns agreed to a buzz cut for his unruly mane and beard as a charity fundraiser. The effort brought in 23, 903 to be divided between Defending the Blue Line, a group that provides hockey equipment to military families, and the Katie Moore Foundation, a fund for research into rare cancers established by former Shark Dominic Moore after the death of his wife.
