MULHOLLAND DRIVE GARBAGE PUSH IT

Mulholland Drive is perhaps the most Lynchian of all the filmmaker s movies. I became obsessed with it in college and am still fascinated by it after countless viewings. The film that, for me, best illustrates the Hollywood dream gone wrong. Lynch won the 2001 Cannes Film Festival Best Director award, was nominated for an Oscar for his direction, and the film was hailed as the best film of the decade by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association. The music for my tribute is Push It by Garbage. If you
