RAAG KIRWANI Kirwani is a musical scale in Hindustani classical music. It is an Indian raga specially suited for instrumental music. The scale is the same as the harmonic minor in western music. There are shades of Pilu in Kirwani. Play by : Chaurasia (Indian Flautist) Renowned Indian bansuri player Rakesh Chaurasia was inspired by watching his uncle, Hariprasad Chaurasia. He started learning under his guidance at the age of four and a half.
